Prof. Dr. Hayri Şafak Ural, head of the Philosophy Department in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, discussed the relationship between education and training with his speech entitled, Education and Training: The Case of Istinye University.

Prof. Dr. Hayri Şafak Ural said:
Education, of course, is different than teaching, but the two complement each other.
In fact, we acknowledge the relationship between them when we refer to
'education and teaching activities.' It is important to be able to see at what point
and why these two phenomena, which utilize different methods to complement
each other in their relationship, need each other.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of diplomas to students who successfully completed their graduate education.
