Istinye University Aircraft Technology student Haydar Irmak won the 1st place award in the International Project category at the Turkey Entrepreneurship Summit. The project, titled "Programmable Educational Drone FICO," aims to teach students block-based coding through aviation principles. The project uses technology to facilitate learning and provides technological benefits to aircraft technology students.
Haydar Irmak and the Firnas Technology team, who brought the project to life, founded the team in 2020. The team operates in the fields of Aviation, Space, and Software Technologies and is known for its innovative projects. The team focuses primarily on defense industry and educational technologies, prioritizing domestic and national production in their projects. By producing innovative solutions, they aim to make technology more accessible and effective. They have achieved significant and pioneering success in the technology field by winning awards in different categories at major organizations such as Teknofest.
Teknofest is Turkey's first and only aviation, space, and technology festival, organized with the participation of many organizations that play a critical role in the development of national technologies.
