This meeting and workshop, titled "Interventions to Increase Smoking Awareness and Create Behavior Change in University Students: Tobacco-Free Faculty Project," was conducted with the support of TUBITAK.
During the first part of the meeting, participants were informed about the activities aimed at increasing awareness of tobacco addiction among university students, preventing addiction, and encouraging those currently addicted to quit smoking. In the second part, participants engaged in group discussions to formulate policy proposals for the future.
The project's results and recommendations are considered an important step in the fight against smoking among university students.
