To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the ratification of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, Muhammet Aktaş and Beyza Küçük, students of the Department of International Relations at the University of Istinye, attended the high-profile ceremony that took place at the United Nations.
Mentioning that he was proud of being from a country who acknowledged the rights of children by making April 23 the Children’s day on 1924, long before the acceptance of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, Aktaş continued, “Every year we celebrate this holiday with children from all over the world.”
