Istinye University and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye have taken a significant step in their collaborative effort with the initiation of the "Industry on Campus Program." As a key participant in the program, Istinye University aims to provide students with a unique experience by targeting a workforce equipped with up-to-date knowledge.
The Industry on Campus Program aims to enhance collaboration between companies and universities, providing students with specific knowledge and skills relevant to various workspaces. Within this framework, the program facilitates the offering of credit-bearing courses by experts from different sectors through the collaboration of companies and universities.
In the initial phase, under the collaboration protocol signed between the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye and Istinye University, courses have commenced in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Social Sciences. In these courses, experts from various sectors provide education to students on topics that will enhance their potential, allowing them to gain practical knowledge and experience in line with current developments in industry and technology.
With the collaboration protocol signed by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and the participation of the National Technology Directorate, Istinye University opened the course MTH002 MEXT - Digital Transformation in Industry and Advanced Production Applications in the fall semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year. The course, supervised by the Head of the Industrial Engineering Department, was conducted with practical applications at the MEXT building, with a total of 25 students attending.
Through its collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, Istinye University continues to offer students the opportunity to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience through courses taught by leading experts in the industry. ISU aims to connect its students with developments in the industry through innovative collaborations.
