Economy in the Digital Age: The Blockchain Revolution

EPAM recently organized an event titled "Economy in the Digital Age: Blockchain Revolution" in collaboration with the Blockchain Student Club. The event featured Turkish Airlines senior expert, Lecturer Burcu Sakız, who discussed the evolution of internet technologies from the inception of the web to blockchain advancements. 

 

Topics covered included the transition from Web 1.0's static websites to Web 2.0's social media platforms, and finally to Web 3.0's decentralized, user-focused structure. Attendees learned about the revolutionary impact of blockchain technology on various sectors, including finance, supply chain, and healthcare, as well as its potential future effects. This online event highlighted the transformative power and significance of blockchain technology in the economy.
