İstinye University brought together leading figures from sports media at the "Inside Sports Media Summit" capturing the pulse of football. During the summit, which covered many important topics ranging from transfer processes to new media management, the changing dynamics of sports journalism, the impact of football on media, and the position of Turkish football on the international stage were discussed.

In the first session of the summit, the panel titled "Sports Media and New Media Management," sports journalists Efe Gülmez, Tarık Akan, Emre Günay, Suat Yahyaoğlu, and Sercan Şekerci discussed the digital transformation in sports journalism.

Sports Journalist Suat Yahyaoğlu highlighted the impact of digitalization on journalism, stating, "With new media, we have the opportunity for real-time reporting compared to traditional journalism. Now, we take on the roles of journalist, reporter, editor, and commentator simultaneously. New media is changing football's representation."

Efe Gülmez, evaluating football's position in the media world, emphasized, "Football is precious to all of us and our country. As new media, we give more weight to football compared to other sports."

In the "Transfer Processes and Reflecting Football to the Public" panel, prominent sports media figures Burhan Can Terzi, Kaan Dursun, and Ferhat Kızıltaş discussed how football is shaped through media.

Sports journalist Burhan Can Terzi, emphasizing the importance of knowledge sharing with younger generations in sports media, said, "I would like to thank İstinye University for opening this space. Sharing with young media students is very valuable for us."

Kaan Dursun pointed out the image of Turkish football on the international stage, saying, "Compared to European leagues, Turkey appears at a lower level. Therefore, the transfer of foreign players is not easy. The image of the Süper Lig needs to be completely changed."

Additionally, former football player and coach Yaşar Çevikel shared his expert insights on Turkish football and regulations with the participants.
