The membership application of Istinye University to the Defense, Aerospace, and Space Cluster Association (‘SAHA Istanbul’) has been positively evaluated.
Established in 2015 through the efforts of 27 founding members, SAHA Istanbul is the largest industrial cluster in Türkiye and Europe, aiming to increase the domestic content ratio of the Turkish defense, aerospace, and space sectors, secure access to critical technologies, and enhance international competitiveness.
SAHA Istanbul is a platform created with the contributions of over 1000 companies from more than 39 cities, as well as the collaboration of TÜBİTAK (‘The Scientific and Technologies Research Council of Türkiye’) and 28 universities. The platform aims to enhance university-industry collaboration and effectively support Türkiye's National Technology Initiative. With its dynamic structure and ongoing growth with new members, SAHA Istanbul strives to develop the technological and sectoral competencies of its members and create a robust ecosystem by supporting collaborations.
