The project “Istanbul Innovation Center Inspired by Nature (Biomimetics),” supported by the Istanbul Development Agency, is successfully managed by the Düsün Tasin Association. As part of the project, the “Biomimetic Exhibition” opened its doors to visitors on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Rami Library with an inauguration program.
The opening program of the center, aiming to contribute to the development of innovative thinking in children and young people inspired by nature, was attended with great interest, particularly the "Biomimetic Exhibition." Istinye University Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hatice Gülen, and Technology Transfer Office Director Arif Can Asal also contributed to the opening program with their attendance.
The exhibition, with the motto "Read, Understand, and Generate Solutions from Nature," draws attention with innovative projects and biomimetic designs inspired by nature. Istinye University emphasized its support for the Biomimetic Center Project, which highlights the transformation of science in a platform where nature meets an innovative perspective with high-level participation in this meaningful event.
The center holds a significant place among the projects supported by the Istanbul Development Agency in line with sustainable development goals. The Biomimetic Exhibition aims to provide visitors with an inspiring experience in generating solutions to environmental problems by drawing inspiration from nature.
