Yaren Aslan, a 3rd-year student in English Nursing Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Istinye University, placed third in the 7th Budokaido European Championship. A total of 615 athletes from 20 countries competed.
Aslan placed third in Europe in the Budokaido category at the Budokaido Türkiye Championship. The championship, held May 24th and 26th in Düzce, was organized by the Turkish Wushu Kung Fu Federation.
Aslan competed in the 65kg category. She was coached by her father, Hasan Aslan. Their achievements brought great pride not only to our country but also to our university. Rector, Erkan İbiş, and Vice-Rector, Peyami Çelikcan applauded their victory.
