İstinye University has signed a significant partnership protocol with Redington Turkey, a global technology and consulting company. The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş, the Rector of İstinye University, and Bora İncir, the Sales Director of Redington Turkey. Operating in more than 30 countries worldwide, Redington stands out as a global technology company pioneering in areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing. Redington Turkey and İstinye University aim to expand their collaborations by conducting branded courses, sectoral projects, and technology-focused joint efforts.
The signing ceremony of the collaboration protocol was attended by İstinye University Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Peyami Çelikcan, Prof. Dr. Yasemin Gürsoy Özdemir, the Head of the Management Information Systems Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Okan Yaşar, and Assistant Secretary General İlkay Sancaktar. Representing Redington Turkey were the Human Resources and Administrative Affairs Director Mine Güneş, Professional Services Manager Murat Coşkunsoy, Cloud Computing Technical Team Leader Burak Şardağ, and Marketing and Communications Director İclal Anasoy.

Emphasizing that the collaboration would not be limited to academic and sectoral projects, İstinye University Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş expressed the necessity of creating a sustainable impact through joint efforts:

New Opportunities in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Analysis
Within the framework of the signed protocol, the inclusion of a Redington-branded course in the İstinye University academic curriculum is planned as the first step. With this course, students will have the opportunity to gain sectoral knowledge and experience in critical areas of today's technology world such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data analysis. Additionally, in the future, sectoral projects, workshops, seminars, and R&D projects will be launched between the university and the company.
