Hosted by the Communication Faculty of Istinye University, the 4th International Media and Society Symposium (MASS) has come to a close. Held at the Vadi H Campus, the symposium brought together leading figures from the industry and academics to discuss the future of media.
The symposium began with such leading authorities as Koray Birand and Devrim Danyal sharing their knowledge and experiences with audiences. The second day the symposium continued with a presentation by Herve Matine, the opening of the Poster For Tomorrow exhibition, and paper presentations. The symposium concluded on the third day with webinars.
Prior to the symposium, two days of online workshops covered topics such as 'Measuring Advertising Performance with Artificial Intelligence,' 'The Importance of Art and Design Education Being Reinterpreted with Artificial Intelligence,' and 'The Digitized Fashion Ecosystem.'
MASS provided the opportunity for industry professionals and academics to learn of the latest innovations and practices in their fields. Through the 'Do the Right Thing' poster exhibition and the international online exhibition 'Speculative,' visitors experienced how art and design interface with media technologies.
