The graduation ceremony of Istinye University for the 2023-2024 academic year took place at the Vadi Main Campus with a total of 9 sessions. Dr. Muharrem Usta, Istinye University's Board of Trustees Chairman, Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş, Istinye University Rector, Board of Trustees members, academics, and families attended the ceremony, where thousands of graduates celebrated by tossing their caps in the air.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the national anthem, followed by opening speeches delivered by faculty deans and vocational school directors. Subsequently, Istinye University Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş addressed the graduates. Commending the students for their perseverance and efforts throughout their university journey, Rector Erkan İbiş advised the graduates to remain determined in achieving their future goals and to make the most of their education.
“NEVER GIVE UP DREAMING!”
Following Rector Erkan İbiş, Dr. Muharrem Usta, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istinye University, addressed the graduates at the Medical Faculty Graduation Ceremony, urging them, 'Never give up dreaming!' Usta's speech encouraged both the graduates preparing to enter professional life and their families. Drawing from his own career journey, he provided examples and said, 'Those who rise are those who conquer the fear of falling. Strive to be original as you build the future, think without limits, and push the boundaries of your dreams.'
Dr. Muharrem Usta recalled the words of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, 'Sleeping nations either die or awaken as slaves...' and emphasized that the Republic will rise on the shoulders of its youth. He concluded his speech with the words, 'Be ambitious in your success. By making great efforts and contributions, you will leave your mark on building the future.'
Throughout the ceremony, academics, witnessing the success of hundreds of students they have nurtured, felt immense pride. They personally presented certificates of achievement to students who excelled in their studies.
GRADUATION HATS IN THE SKY
The ceremony, where joy, happiness, and sorrow were experienced all at once, ended with students releasing their graduation hats into the sky after taking the graduation oath.
