Kılıç holds titles such as Associate Membership of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA), Membership of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, and the World Academy of Art and Science. He has also undertaken important duties including the international representative of Türkiye in the scientific world.
Prof. Dr. Kılıç is married with two children.
