The "Multidisciplinary Approach to Pulmonary Nodules" Symposium, organized within the scope of ISU Liv Hospital Bahçeşehir Medical Days, will be held on September 16, 2023. The symposium will be chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adil Can Güngen, the Head of the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Istinye University Faculty of Medicine, and will feature the participation of esteemed physicians.
During the symposium, various topics related to pulmonary nodules, which are a special concern with a high prevalence, often causing stress for both doctors and patients and requiring a multidisciplinary approach, will be discussed.
These topics will include the medical significance of radiological monitoring for specific cases, which cases are suitable for interventional procedures, and which cases should be referred for surgery, among others. These discussions will be also based on current information and will be presented by experts from different disciplines such as Pulmonary Medicine, Radiology, Thoracic Surgery, Oncology, and Pathology.
