The Scosym International Symposium was hosted this year by Istinye University Faculty of Health Sciences. The symposium, in which Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gül Deniz YILMAZ YELVAR, a faculty member of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, was a part of the organizing committee, took place at the Istinye University Topkapi Congress Center.
The Scosym 2023 Symposium held in Istanbul was organized by the Scosym Organization Committee on September 23-24, 2023, to allow the best spine researchers from around the world to share their experiences.
Spine and neurosurgeons, physiotherapists, sports medicine physicians, orthotists, prosthetists, and other specialists were invited to the symposium. The main theme of the symposium was determined as “Scoliosis and Other Spinal Deformities: Current Trends in Research.” In the symposium, where leading experts both globally and in our country provided academic contributions, courses were organized with experienced healthcare professionals as instructors.
