Assist. Prof. Mehlika Toy, a member of the World Health Organization Viral Hepatitis Strategic Information and Modelling Reference Group, as well as an academic and researcher from Erasmus University, visited our university on July 4th.
The face-to-face meeting aimed at supporting the development of national policies for controlling viral hepatitis infections and conducting joint projects with our university students and faculty members. The meeting continued with Assist. Prof. Toy's presentation titled "Eliminating Hepatitis B Viral Infections Through Cost-Effective Interventions."
The visit also included a search meeting session with our medical pathology faculty members regarding potential joint projects and studies, and concluded with a photo session for memories.
