This year, 8 academicians from Istinye University were included in the list prepared in cooperation with Stanford University and Elsevier, where the world's most influential scientists are announced and ranked every year!
The list, which is prepared every year in cooperation with Stanford University and the Netherlands-based scientific publishing company Elsevier, was published by Elsevier in its database.
The list included two different categories: "Career-Long Impact" and "Annual Impact". Among the 22 most cited and identified departments and 174 sub-disciplines, scientists ranked in the top 2% in the world were included.
The ranking was based on objective and international criteria such as the number of qualified publications of academicians and the number of citations to these publications, the number of patents, h-index, hm-index.
While a total of 8 academicians from our university were included in the "Annual Impact" list, 3 of our 8 academicians were entitled to rank in the "Career Long Impact" list.
